Dasung Medi-Service Co., Ltd. began in 2008 as an inbound travel agency welcoming visitors from Japan and China. Over five years of guiding VIP travellers we trained our own interpreters, and in 2013 we registered as an international patient agency under the name Dasung VIP Travel and turned fully towards medical tourism. The DMS corporation was established in 2023.
We are not a medical institution. All consultation and treatment is carried out by our partner hospitals. What Dasung Medi-Service handles is everything on either side of that — the first conversation, choosing the hospital, interpretation, the airport pickup, where you stay, staying reachable while you recover, and getting you home.

An inbound travel agency
Five years guiding VIP tour clients from Japan and China. We trained our own Japanese, Chinese and English interpreters and tour guides rather than hiring them per trip.
- 2013
Registered as a patient agency
Dasung VIP Travel was founded, specialising in VIP inbound tours while the centre of the business moved to international patients.
- 2023
DMS incorporated
Cumulative international patients passed 4,500. Partner hospital relationships were formalised at corporate level.

Seoul medical tourism partner
Selected as a medical tourism partner institution following review by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

A corporation filing properly with the state each year, on a regular reporting cycle with national and municipal government.
Government-registered agency
Registered with the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare as an international patient agency. Unregistered referral is illegal under Korean law.

Selected as a medical tourism partner institution after review by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
How we work
How we work
- Present
- Treatment in an unfamiliar country is unsettling on its own. We hold consultation events abroad with the partner hospital’s director present, so you meet a face before you fly.
- Verified
- The material we share in online consultation is limited to what each partner hospital’s director has approved. We do not write our own clinical explanations.
- Transparent
- Rates are agreed with the hospital in advance. We do not adjust the figure per customer and we do not add discounts. Same procedure, same price.
Growth
Growth
Growth has come from referrals rather than advertising: from 20 patients in 2018 to a cumulative 4,503 by 2023. The gap in 2020 and 2021 is the pandemic.
