What we do differently

Specialist medical interpretation

Your own nationality, and medical work exclusively.

General interpretation and medical interpretation are different jobs. An explanation of anaesthesia or recovery time changes meaning if one word slips. Our interpreters have worked in medicine for years and are matched to your own nationality wherever possible. The standard we hold them to is carrying the nuance of what you say before and after a procedure, not just the content.

Aftercare

Recovery in a quiet private space, not a ward.

Most people want somewhere they can be alone while they recover. We arrange private accommodation where you can rest comfortably before and after a procedure, with a response system in place that reaches someone the moment you need help. Recovery is not part of the schedule. It is the schedule.

Dasung Medi-Service was an inbound travel agency before it was a medical tourism company, and the people and the know-how from that period are still here. On days without appointments, and on days when recovery is going well, we arrange sightseeing, shopping and transport. So the city you came to for treatment is remembered as a city you travelled in.

From the moment you start considering the trip to the day you get home, we are present at all four stages.

Consultation
We hear your situation over messenger and propose the hospital, the schedule and the likely cost.

Arrival
We meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation or the hospital. An interpreter comes with you.

Your stay
An interpreter is with you through consultation, treatment and recovery. We manage accommodation and transport.

Going home
We check how you are doing and take you to the airport. We stay in touch after you land.

On pricing

Rates are set in advance by agreement with each partner hospital. We do not adjust the figure per customer and we do not add discounts. The same procedure at the same hospital costs the same for everyone. Exact figures are given hospital by hospital during consultation.
